  1. There are a lot of generalities in this discussion.

    I think you made the mistake of thinking that insisting on content attribution is an attempt to ride on someone’s coat-tails or bask in their success. Also you’re making a mistake in thinking that all people make Minecraft content to make an income or to be famous. It might be your view, but it’s a skewed view.

    The motivation of the content creators I have seen in these engagements is simply to have their work flagged, otherwise it looks like the channel is responsible for the content. It’s just wrong for a YouTube channel not to acknowledge the content creator.

    It’s unprofessional to have some kid, no matter how popular, pass off your work as their own.

    You appear to have fallen into the trap of standing up for nothing. Some causes ARE worth fighting for, no matter how uncomfortable it makes you feel to have dirty laundry aired publicly.

  2. Having your name and map name pop up as a title leaves no room for confusion. A great way to make sure that people see it 🙂
